Big data drives more finance to African agribusiness

Timeous data being delivered at the farmers finger tips, enabling them to farm more precisely with inputs such as seed, water, fertiliser and pesticides is becoming the new norm for farming.  Data driven farming, known as precision agriculture, not only helps farmers use their resources more efficiently, reducing input costs and increasing environmental sustainability, but has now also shown to help farmers with access to finance.
