Renewable organic waste system to help make agriculture sustainable

One of the biggest obstacles to sustainable agriculture is the large amounts of organic waste produced by South African farms. Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and University of Limpopo is in the process of testing various ways to turn farm waste into a compost, fertilising soils and retaining water.
