South Africa: ZZ2 ‘Nature Farming’ takes compost to new level

ZZ2 applies 'natuurboerdery' or nature farming practices from their choice of rootstocks, using predator insects, leaf extracts and a variety of composts depending on soil type and commodity needs. ZZ2's composting is said to have proven itself in the apple sector where their yields and quality were higher compared to neighbours undertaking conventional farming.
