The Western Cape Department of Agriculture presented a Drought Dialogue on the 23 and 24th of June 2016 at Elsenburg, Stellenbosch to invited stakeholders of the agricultural sector. The outcome of this dialogue was an action plan with key priorities allocated to lead departments and organisations and deadlines in order to prepare for prevailing and future drought conditions and to make the sector more drought resilient.
