Virtual Digital Impact Tour on Technical Innovations for Sustainable Agriculture

GIZ Regional Office South on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy will be hosting a  Digital Impact Tour (DIT) on “Technical Innovations for Sustainable Agriculture for South Africa” 

The Digital Impact Tour will take place completely online in form of a web-seminar from 10th – 12th November 2020 (every day approx. from 9:30 to 13:00, SAST/UTC+2).

 

Within the Digital Impact Tour, there will be technical lectures and best practice examples from experts on various topics within the field of agriculture and food packaging. Six Bavarian companies and organizations that are involved in various sectors of innovative and sustainable agriculture and food value chains (e.g. smart farming, high-tech machines, innovative food packaging)  will present their technologies and services: Geocledian; Greenspin; Horsch; MULTIVAC; Scarabot; Fritzmeier Umwelttechnik/ISARIA

Moreover, there will be one-on-one B2B-talks between Bavarian companies and South African webinar participants to intensify the exchange.The application deadline for the seminar is Sunday, 25th of October 2020.
