Failure to help small farmers adapt will compromise future food production

According to FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva, failure to make our food systems more resilient to climate change will "seriously compromise" food production in many regions and could doom international efforts to end hunger and poverty by 2030 to failure. The article also mentions obstacles faced by small farmers such as lack of access to credit and markets among other. 

There has however been a movement in Africa of service providers creating apps for such farmers to do accurate record keeping so farmers can gain access to credit.
